Exciting News from Vegetables by Bayer – Food Service Engagement

Vegetables by Bayer – with a focus on the importance of the Food Service and Culinary Industry – is making efforts to engage in the space in order to gain insights that will influence future breeding of exceptional vegetable varieties for the market.

With this in mind, we are excited to announce the launch of their Culinary Council, comprised of esteemed chefs and food influencers representatives from processing, K-12, College and Universities, media, casual dining and R&D. This is yet another way Bayer is leading the way by introducing an active network of chefs, culinarians, growers, distributors and seed developers to offer guidance, predict vegetable and fruit trends, and address industry issues. The goal is to provide strategic advice to the seed company as they breed new varieties, and create innovative and sustainable solutions with a specific culinary focus. This closed-loop group for feedback is one of a kind in the industry.

With the creation of the Culinary Council, Vegetables by Bayer will listen to the insights from the multi-disciplined group of culinarians that will provide innovation for the future. Bayer's seed brands Seminis and De Ruiter have long provided cutting-edge solutions and continue to invest in R&D to develop varieties that meet the demanding standards of the foodservice industry.  Our seeds offer flavorful and vibrant vegetables that meet market demand and help grow a healthier world.
