Caramelino, previously known as DRTC9517, is a cocktail round truss tomato with Intermediate Resistance to Tomato brown rugose fruit. Fruits have good firmness and a high level of °Brix.

Agronomic Tips

  • // Advised stem density: Final distance LIT glasshouse max 4.0 stems/m2 and under artificial light condition max 3.75 stems/m2. // Grafting on a strong rootstock is advised (Maxifort & DR0141TX), for vigour through hot periods and endurance for long cycle. // Pruning strategy: 7 – 10 fruits/truss (depending on time of year and vigour) // Truss reinforcement is advised; to support truss 1 to 4 (because of long truss stems) // Promote active growing conditions during low light periods to increase truss attachment // Use lower pre-night temperatures for more compact truss shape // Leaf removal from the head is adviced in winter, spring and autumn, depending on plant vigor
